TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman men's basketball team is set to host Transylvania this Saturday, 1/13 at 3 PM. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman enters the contest with a record of 5-9 overall and 3-4 in the HCAC. 
* The Engineers secured the Mutchner Cup in a thrilling win over Earlham College with a final score of 72-71. 
* Miles McGowen led the team recording his fourth double-double of the season with 28 points and 13 rebounds.
* McGowen has been the standout this season averaging 16.2 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game. 
* He currently leads the conference with a field goal percentage on .581, and ranks sixth in points per game.
* Bradley Harden leads the team and ranks sixth in the conference with 46 assists this season. 
* Cole Pride has been the protector at the rim leading the team and ranking seventh in the conference with 11 blocked shots.
* The team is led by second-year Head Coach Nick Sales. 
* Rose-Hulman will hit the road next week to face Manchester University on Wednesday, 1/17 at 7:30 PM. 

TRANSYLVANIA NOTES:
* Transylvania leads the HCAC with a record of 11-3 overall and 6-1 in the HCAC. 
* The team comes off a hard fought win against Hanover College in double overtime with a final score of 108-102.
* Jaylan Green leads the team with 21.1 points per game.
* Hunter Penn is the team's leading rebounder with 8.3 rebounds per game this season.
* Transylvania will return to action hosting Mount St. Joseph University on Wednesday, 1/17 at 7:30 PM. 

SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman trails in the all-time series against Transylvania with a record of 16-25 against the Pioneers.
* The Engineers came out on top in their last meeting with a final score of 71-68 in last season's opening round of the HCAC Tournament. 
* The last time Transylvania defeated the Engineers was in 2023 with a final score of 67-65.
