TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman women's swimming and diving team hosted Valparaiso on Friday night for Senior Day. The Fightin' Engineers suffered a loss to the Crusaders with a final score of 189-90.

The team took the time before the meet to honor their seniors. Riya Bharamaraddi, Reilly Foote, Kayla Martinez, Hayden Mattick, and Lauren Meyer were all recognized for their dedication the the Rose-Hulman swimming and diving program. 

The Fightin' Engineers claimed 11 top-three finishes with five event wins on the night. Cate Stauffer was exceptional earning a pair of event wins in the 100-yard freestyle (56.50) and the 200-yard freestyle (2:03.33). Catherine Bath also earned a first place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle (11:21.50).

Audrey Hankins represented the Fightin' Engineers in the diving competition claiming first in the 1-meter diving (205.05) and 3-meter diving (201.90) competition. 

The Fightin' Engineers will return to the pool tomorrow as they travel to Bloomington, Illinois to take on Illinois Wesleyan at 1 PM CT.
