TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman men's basketball team will hit the road to face Franklin College in HCAC action on Wednesday, 1/3 at 7:30 PM. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman enters the contest with a record of 3-8 overall and 1-3 in the HCAC. 
* The Engineers look to bounce back after a loss to Anderson University with a final score of  75-61. 
* Miles McGowen has been the standout this season averaging 14.4 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game. 
* He currently leads the conference with a field goal percentage on .584, and ranks ninth in points per game.
* Rose-Hulman has been picked to finish fifth in this year's HCAC Preseason Poll receiving 50 points. 
* The team is led by second-year Head Coach Nick Sales. 
* Rose-Hulman will return to action traveling to face Defiance College on Saturday, 1/6 at 3 PM. 

FRANKLIN NOTES:
* Franklin enters Wednesday's match up with a record of 4-7 overall and 2-2 in the HCAC. 
* The team suffered a loss to Manchester University in their last contest with a final score of 68-65. 
* Lynn King leads the team with 15.6 points per game and 8.7 rebounds per game.
* Other players averaging double figures include Ryan Bostic (14.1) and Braden Flanagan (10.3).  
* After hosting the Engineers, the Grizzlies will travel to face Bluffton on Saturday, 1/6 at 3 PM. 

SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman trails the Grizzlies in the all-time series between both teams with a record of 42-48 against Franklin. 
* The Engineers have won the last two meetings between the teams with final scores of 85-66 and 73-71. 
* The last time Franklin defeated Rose-Hulman was during the 2021-22 season with a final score of 73-54.
