Men's Basketball Set to Host Manchester Wednesday Night

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman men's basketball team will continue their conference schedule hosting Manchester University on Wednesday, 1/24 at 7:30 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman enters the contest with a record of 8-9 overall and 6-4 in the HCAC.
* The Fightin' Engineers earned a win over the weekend over Bluffton University with a final score of 77-66.
* The Engineers claimed an exciting win against the Manchester Spartans in their last meeting earlier this season with a final score of 73-70. 
* After being down by 21 points in the first half, the Fightin' Engineers pulled off the greatest comeback in school history against the Spartans. 
* It is the largest comeback since play-by-play statistics were first recorded at RHIT during the 1998-99 season.
* Rose-Hulman has now won five conference games in a row. 
* Miles McGowen has recorded five double-doubles this season and leads the conference with a field goal percentage of .562.
* McGowen leads the team with 15.1 points per game and 8.1 rebounds per game. 
* Bradley Harden leads the team and ranks sixth in the conference with 60 assists this season. 
* Cole Pride has been the protector at the rim leading the team and ranking fifth in the conference with 13 blocked shots.
* The team currently stands in sixth place in the HCAC led by second-year head coach Nick Sales. 
* Rose-Hulman will continue their conference schedule traveling to face Transylvania University on Saturday, 1/27 at 3 PM.

MANCHESTER NOTES:
* Manchester enters the contest against the Engineers with a record of 10-7 overall and 7-3 in the HCAC. 
* The team earned a win against Mount St. Joseph University in their last contest with a final score of 75-71.
* The Spartans are led by Bryant Smith with 21.8 points per game.
* Smith is 16 points away from reaching 1,000 career points. 
* Zach Sawyer leads the team with 10.4 rebounds per game.
* The Spartans stand in fourth place in the conference led by fifth-year head coach Nate Conley.
* Manchester will return home to host Earlham College on Saturday, 1/27 at 3 PM. 

SERIES HISTORY:
* The Engineers lead the series all-time with a record of 39-27 against the Spartans. 
* Rose-Hulman has won the last five meetings between both teams.
* The Engineers defeated the Spartans earlier this season with a final score of 73-70
