TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers football team will hit the road to take on Hanover College on Saturday, October 12 at 2 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers enter the weekend with a record of 1-3 overall and 1-0 in the HCAC.
* The team comes off their first win of the season in their HCAC opener defeating Franklin on Homecoming with a final score of 24-14.

Rick Easterwood has led the offense under center ranking second in the conference with a 65.5% completion percentage.
* Easterwood has totaled 791 yards through the air and seven touchdown passes so far this season.
*
Jay Smith is the Fightin' Engineers leading rusher leading the conference with 458 yards rushing, 4.9 yards per carry, and 114.5 yards per game.
*
Kolton Nanko leads the receiving core with 275 receiving yards and one touchdown averaging 68.75 yards per game.
*
Daniel Huery leads the team in receptions with 34 and receiving touchdowns with three this season.
* The Fightin' Engineers are led defensively by
Wyatt Bell totaling 32.0 tackles.

Augustus Shryock is another defensive standout leading the team with three tackles for loss.

Andrew Toler has been productive all season on special teams leading the conference and all of NCAA Division III averaging 48.4 yards per punt.
* Rose-Hulman has been selected to finish third in the HCAC preseason poll receiving 25 points.
* The team finished last season with a record of 7-3 overall and 6-1 in the HCAC.
* The Fightin' Engineers finished second in the HCAC after falling to Mount St. Joseph in the final game of the season.
* The squad returns eight All-Conference student-athletes from last year's team including

* Senior Punter
Andrew Toler has been named a 1st Team Preseason All-American by D3football.com.
* Toler earned a pair of All-American honors last season ranking third in all of Division III with an average of 44.4 yards per punt last season.
* He also enters his final season ranked second in school history in career yards per punt at 39.71.

Jeff Sokol is serving in his 14th year at Rose-Hulman with a career record of 84-43. Sokol has led Rose-Hulman to three HCAC titles and two NCAA Playoff appearances in 2016 and 2021.
* After traveling to face Hanover, Rose-Hulman will return home to host Defiance on Saturday, October 19 at 1:30 PM for Hall of Fame Weekend.
HANOVER NOTES:
* Hanover enters the weekend with a record of 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the HCAC.
* The team comes off a close loss to Mount St. Joseph University with a final score of 49-41.
* Eian Roudebush leads the team at quarterback with 938 yards passing and 10 touchdowns this season with a completion percentage of 66.38%.
* Austin Oppel is the team's leading rusher with 27 carries for 68 yards this year.
* Eric Roudenbush leads the receiving core with 15 catches for 240 yards this year.
* Jack Pennington and Scotty Johnson have both been big targets as well with a team-high three receiving touchdowns each.
* Hanover has been selected to finish second in the HCAC Preseason Poll receiving 30 points and one first-place vote.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, the Panthers will travel to take on Anderson on Saturday, October 19 at 1:30 PM.

* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 37-36-2.
