TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team wraps up their fall schedule hosting Earlham and Greenville on Sunday, October 13 at 12 PM and 3 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman enters the weekend with a record of 0-2 in dual matches this season.
* The team suffered losses to Anderson and Illinois College in the Illinois College Tri-match with final scores of 7-0 and 5-2.
* The team had individuals compete at the DePauw Invitational with
Emerson Donaldson leading the team with a 4-2 overall record.
* Donaldson leads the team this season with a record of 3-2 in singles competition.
* The team has five different players leading the way in doubles with two wins on the season.
* The Fightin' Engineers have been selected to finish second in the HCAC preseason poll tied with Anderson with 39 points.
* The team brought home a 2nd-place finish in the conference last season after falling to Transylvania in the HCAC Championship match.
* Rose-Hulman returns just one All-Conference athlete in
Camille Clark.
* Clark along with
Emerson Donaldson,
Lia Taylor, and
Addie Patterson have been named Athletes to Watch by the HCAC for the upcoming season.
* This wraps up the Fall season for the Fightin' Engineers. The team will return to action hosting Manchester on Saturday, February 1 at 12 PM.
GREENVILLE NOTES:
* Greenville enters the weekend with a 2-1 record in dual matches this season.
* The team has earned wins against Central (Iowa) and Millikin with scores of 5-2 and 6-1.
* Irlanda Oliver leads the team at No. 1 singles with a record of 2-1 on the season.
* The doubles team of Oliver and Emily Kowalke leads the Panthers at No. 1 doubles with a record of 2-1.
* This will wrap up the Fall season for the Greenville Panthers.
EARLHAM NOTES:
* Earlham enters the match against Rose-Hulman with a record of 0-1 so far this season.
* The Quakers suffered a loss to Capital in their last match with a final score of 5-2.
* Mackenzie Davis represents the Quakers at No. 1 singles earning a win against Capital 6-4, 3-0.
* Davis and Paige Hobbs are the No. 1 doubles team for Earlham falling against Capital 6-4.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, the Quakers will travel to face Baldwin Wallace on Thursday, October 17 at 5:30 PM.
GREENVILLE SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 4-3 against the Panthers.
* The Fightin' Engineers have lost the past three matches against Greenville with scores of 7-2, 6-3, and 5-4.
* Rose-Hulman has a record of 3-1 when they are at home against Greenville.
EARLHAM SERIES HISTORY:
