RESULTS
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's swimming and diving team brought home an 8th place finish from the Dan Ross Indiana Intercollegiates on Saturday afternoon at Purdue.
Two of the scoring performances for the Fightin' Engineers came in the relays with a pair of top-20 finishes.
Ritu Bharamaraddi,
Ary Nelson,
Cate Stauffer, and
Avery Witt combined to swim a 1:58.58 in the 200 Medley Relay to finish in 19th place. The 200 Freestyle relay finished in 15th place with
Catherine Bath,
Brianna Brunk,
Maria Beloreshka, and
Allison Kirk swimming a 1:56.52.
Audrey Hankins also scored in both diving events with a 13th place finish in the 3m competition and a 16th place finish in the 1m competition.
Catherine Bath was the only point scoring in an individual swimming event as she finished 13th in the 500 Freestyle race.
The Fightin' Engineers will return to the pool next weekend as they host the Indiana DIII Championships at the Vigo County Aquatic Center on Saturday, October 19.
