Women's Soccer Travels to Franklin Wednesday for HCAC Match Up

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team will travel to face Franklin College on Wednesday, October 16 in HCAC action at 7 PM. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers enter their match against Franklin ranking third in the conference with a record of 4-6-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the HCAC. 
* The team comes off a big win over Berea on Saturday with a final score of 3-1. 
* Kyra Hicks is the team's leader in points with seven on three goals and one assists so far this season.
* Camille Clark and Sydnee Schuler have also scored multiple goals this season totaling two each. 
Lily Doré has been the keeper for the Fightin' Engineers all season long totaling 34 saves with a goals-against average of 1.66 and a save percentage of 65.4%.
* Rose-Hulman has been selected to finish third in this year's HCAC preseason poll receiving 64 points and one first-place vote. 
* The team finished fourth overall in the HCAC last season compiling a record of 8-4-5 overall and 5-2-1 in the HCAC. 
* The Fightin' Engineers fell short in the semifinal round of the HCAC Tournament against Hanover College with a final score of 2-0. 
* The squad returns four all-conference players including Lily DoréKyra HicksLauren Marquardt, and Kiana Martin
* The four all-conference returners along with Jayden Gibson have been named as players to watch for the upcoming season by the HCAC. 
* After facing Franklin, Rose-Hulman will return home to host Earlham on Saturday, October 19th at 1 PM. 

FRANKLIN NOTES:
* Franklin enters the conference contest with a record of 4-5-2 overall and 3-1 in the HCAC. 
* The team comes off a win against Bluffton with a final score of 2-1. 
* Maddison Claybrooke leads the team with three goals on the season.
* Jaiden Baker has also made an impact leading the team with seven points on two goals and three assists. 
* Makenna Mundy leads the team in goal with 56 saves, a 1.43 goals-against average, and an 80% save percentage. 
* Franklin has been picked to finish sixth in the HCAC preseason polls receiving 36 points. 
* After facing Rose-Hulman, Franklin will return to action traveling to play Mount. St. Joseph University on Saturday, October 19 at 6 PM.

* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 20-6-1 against the Grizzlies.
