TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's volleyball team will continue conference play traveling to Bluffton on Saturday, November 2 at 12 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman enters the weekend with a record of 9-16 overall and 2-4 in the HCAC.
* The team stands in a tie for seventh place in the conference standings with Berea.
* The Fightin' Engineers come off a much-needed win over the Franklin Grizzlies in straight sets with a final of 3-0.

Lily Ebright has been the defensive standout all season setting the school record for digs in a single match earlier this year against Berea with 58 digs.
* This is the fourth most digs in a single match since the NCAA began tracking individual match records.
* Ebright leads all of NCAA Division III with 680 total digs and 7.08 digs per set.
*
Hannah Bergfeld became the sixth person in school history to record a triple-double in a match earlier this season.
* Bergfeld has now totaled three triple-doubles on the year in the matches against Olivet, Trine, and Berea.
* She currently leads the HCAC and ranks fifth in all of NCAA Division III with three triple-doubles this season.

Desiree Beverley has been the impact maker offensively leading the team with 221 kills averaging 2.30 kills per set.

Jillian Gregg has also been a playmaker on offense with 208 kills averaging 2.17 kills per set.

Amaya Harrell has been a staple on the defense leading the team and ranking seventh in the conference with 63 blocks this season.
* Harrell has also been a productive weapon offensively with 211 kills and a team-high 29.5% attack percentage.
* The Fightin' Engineers have been selected to finish fifth in this year's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference preseason poll receiving 46 points.
* Rose-Hulman finished in sixth place in the conference last season with a 15-14 record overall and a 4-5 conference record.
* The squad returns two all-conference players from last year including
Lily Ebright and
Jillian Gregg.
* Ebright has been named the HCAC Defensive Player of the Year in the last two seasons.
* After facing Bluffton, Rose-Hulman will travel to take on Anderson on Wednesday, November 6 at 7 PM.
BLUFFTON NOTES:
* Bluffton enters the weekend with a record of 16-11 overall and 1-5 in the HCAC ranking ninth in the conference standings.
* The team has lost their last four matches against conference opponents.
* The Beavers come off a loss to Manchester on Wednesday with a final score of 3-1.
* Chloei Barnett leads the team with 308 kills this season averaging 3.35 kills per set.
* Jenna Woods has also been a key contributor for the Beavers with 266 kills and 2.80 kills per set.
* Gabby WIlliams is the team's assist leader with 699 averaging 8.74 assists per set.
* Abby Lawhorn leads the team defensively with 412 digs averaging 4.58 digs per set.
* Kasy Sager is another defensive standout with a team-high 74 blocks this season.
* The Beavers have been selected to finish ninth in the HCAC preseason polls receiving 21 points.
* After hosting Rose-Hulman, the team will travel to take on Mount St. Joseph University on Wednesday, November 6 at 7 PM.

* Rose-Hulman trails in the all-time series between both teams with a record of 6-17 against the Beavers.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won the last three matches dating back to the 2021 season.
* Rose-Hulman defeated Bluffton last season in straight sets with a final score of 3-0.
