TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's soccer team begins postseason play hosting Anderson University in the HCAC Semifinal on Tuesday at 7 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers clinched the #1 seed in the HCAC Tournament and their 11th HCAC Regular Season Championship.
* The team will have home-field advantage throughout the HCAC Tournament.
* Rose-Hulman enters the semifinal match against Anderson finishing the regular season with a record of 10-4-3 overall and 8-0-1 in the HCAC.
* The team enters the tournament on a six-match winning streak against conference opponents.

John Biederstedt has been the standout in goal for the Fightin' Engineers leading the conference with a .828 goals-against average, 81.5% save percentage, and a league-low 12 goals-against.

Ryan Shapiro and
Cameron Hannah have been the dynamic duo for the Fightin' Engineers offensively leading the team with 16 points each.
* Shapiro totals six goals and four assists leading the team with 16 shots on goal.
* Hannah leads Rose-Hulman with seven goals this season and totals two assists while leading the conference with four game-winning goals.

Julius Salinas and
Oliver Fila are the team's assist leaders with five assists each on the year.
* Head Coach
Sean Helliwell earned his 200th career victory at the helm of the Fightin' Engineers men's soccer program in the match against Bluffton earlier this year.
* The Fightin' Engineers finished last season with a record of 12-5-3 overall and 6-2-1 in the HCAC to claim the #3 seed in the postseason tournament.
* The team went on to win the HCAC Tournament taking out the top two teams in the league to advance to their second consecutive NCAA Tournament.
* Rose-Hulman suffered a close loss in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to Ohio Wesleyan with a final score of 2-0.
* With a win over the Ravens, Rose-Hulman will host the HCAC Championship on Saturday, November 9.
ANDERSON NOTES:
* Anderson advances to the HCAC Semifinals after picking up a win in the opening round of the HCAC Tournament against Berea with a final score of 2-0.
* Anderson finished the regular season with a conference record of 3-3-3 to earn the #4 seed in the postseason tournament.
* The team currently has an overall record of 7-7-4 this season.
* Emmett Kindler leads the team with five goals this season.
* Dalton Grubbs is the team's point leader with 13 on three goals and seven assists.
* Braydon Kennedy leads the Ravens in goal with 63 saves and a 78.7% save percentage.
* With a win, Anderson will advance to the HCAC Championship traveling to face the winner of #2 Hanover and #3 Transylanvia on Saturday, November 9.
