TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers football team will hit the road to continue their HCAC schedule facing Anderson on Saturday, November 9 at 1:30 PM. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers enter the weekend with a record of 4-4 overall and 3-1 in the HCAC.
* Rose-Hulman currently ranks third in the conference standings with just two games remaining in the regular season.
* The team comes off a big win over Manchester with a final score of 70-7.
* Daniel Huery achieved a career milestone becoming the Rose-Hulman leader in career receptions with 257. 
* Huery finished the game with 10 catches for 182 yards and three touchdowns against the Spartans. 
* He leads the receiving core for the Fightin' Engineers with 67 catches for 649 yards and seven touchdowns.
* Jay Smith broke the Rose-Hulman single-game rushing record earlier this season against Bluffton with 252 yards and tying the single-game rushing touchdowns record with five.
* Smith is the Fightin' Engineers leading rusher leading the conference with 1028 yards, 13 rushing touchdowns, and 128.5 yards per game. 
* Rick Easterwood has led the offense under center ranking second in the conference with a 65.4% completion percentage.
* Easterwood has totaled 1610 yards through the air and 14 touchdown passes so far this season.
* The Fightin' Engineers are led defensively by Adam Field totaling 52.0 tackles, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble.
* Marshall Koch is the team's sack leader with 5.5 sacks and 6.0 tackles for loss
* Koch has also totaled one interception, a forced fumble, and two pass breakups. 
* Andrew Toler has been productive all season on special teams leading the conference and all of NCAA Division III averaging 48.8 yards per punt. 
* Rose-Hulman has been selected to finish third in the HCAC preseason poll receiving 25 points.
* The team finished last season with a record of 7-3 overall and 6-1 in the HCAC.
* The Fightin' Engineers finished second in the HCAC after falling to Mount St. Joseph in the final game of the season.
* The squad returns eight All-Conference student-athletes from last year's team including Wyatt Bell, Cameron Dorsey, Adam Field, Daniel Huery, Ben Klein, Dylan Page, Kyle Rehberg, and Andrew Toler.
* All of the returning All-Conference players with additions of Rick Easterwood, Augustus Shryock, and Jay Smith have been named as Players to Watch by the HCAC this season.
* Senior Punter Andrew Toler has been named a 1st Team Preseason All-American by D3football.com.
* Toler earned a pair of All-American honors last season ranking third in all of Division III with an average of 44.4 yards per punt last season. 
* Jeff Sokol is serving in his 14th year at Rose-Hulman with a career record of 84-43. Sokol has led Rose-Hulman to three HCAC titles and two NCAA Playoff appearances in 2016 and 2021.
* After traveling to take on Anderson, Rose-Hulman will travel to face Mount St. Joseph for a possible shot at the HCAC title on Saturday, November 16 at 1:30 PM. 

ANDERSON NOTES:
* The Ravens enter the weekend with a record of 1-7 overall and 0-4 in the HCAC this season. 
* Anderson comes off a loss to Franklin with a final score of 35-14. 
* Zac Montgomery leads the team under center with 1042 passing yards this season and three passing touchdowns.
* Marquane Taylor is the team's leading rusher with 152 yards averging 25.3 yards per game. 
* Julian Holguin is the top receiver for the Ravens with 48 catches for 396 yards and one touchdown. 
* The defense is led by Jake Simpson recording 67.0 tackles this season.
* Sidiki Traore is the sack leader for the Ravens with 5.5 sacks on the year. 
* After hosting Rose-Hulman, Anderson will wrap up their 2024 season at home hosting Manchester on Saturday, November 16 at 1:30 PM.
