TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team returns to HCAC action, hosting Anderson on Saturday, December 14, at 3 PM. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes in with an overall record of 4-3 and a 2-0 record in the HCAC following their 58-49 loss to Millikin on Wednesday night.
* The Fightin' Engineers have picked up back-to-back HCAC wins, defeating Manchester 84-74 and Bluffton 65-49.
* Miles McGowen leads the team, averaging close to a double-double with 12.3 points per game and 9.9 rebounds per game. He also leads the team with 19 assists this season.
* Joey Schmitz is another standout, averaging double figures with 11.0 points per game and leading the team in steals with 12. 
* Daniel Savovic has also been a playmaker for the Fightin' Engineers, averaging 10.3 points per game and shooting 33.3% from beyond the arc.
* The Fightin' Engineers were picked to finish fourth in the HCAC preseason coaches poll, receiving 53 poll points.
* Miles McGowen earned 2nd-team all-HCAC honors last season after leading the team with 15.8 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.
* After hosting Anderson, Rose-Hulman will continue conference play as they travel to Richmond, Indiana, to take on the Earlham Quakers in the Annual John Mutchner Cup on Tuesday, December 17, at 7:30 PM.

ANDERSON NOTES:
* Anderson enters the weekend with a record of 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the HCAC following their big 91-72 win over Berea last Saturday.
* Tate Ivanyo has been the standout for Anderson, averaging 22.4 points per game this season. 
* The Ravens have four other players averaging double figures this season, including Bryce Williams (14.5), Nolan Swan (11.8), Rob Davidson (10.1), and Kenney Troutman (10.0).
* Davidson and Ivanyo lead the team in rebounding, with both grabbing over seven boards per game.
* Anderson was picked to finish third in the HCAC preseason poll, receiving 61 points and one first-place vote. 
* After facing Rose-Hulman, Anderson will return to their home floor to host the Hanover Panthers on Wednesday, December 18, at 2 PM. 

SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series with an overall record of 43-33 against the Ravens. 
* Anderson has won the last five games against the Fightin' Engineers with a perfect 5-0 record in the past two seasons
* Rose-Hulman's last win over Anderson was a 65-42 victory in Anderson back in 2022.
* The Fightin' Engineers have a home record of 20-14 all-time when hosting the Ravens, despite dropping four of the last five meetings in Hulbert Arena.
