TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team returns to HCAC play on Saturday, December 14, as they host the Anderson Ravens at 1 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands at 3-5 overall and 1-1 in the HCAC following their 63-54 win over Greenville on Wednesday night.
*
Jamie Baum has been the star for Rose-Hulman this year, leading the team with 19.4 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game.
* Baum is also shooting 41.2% from beyond the arc and totaling 23 steals and 12 blocks, leading the team in all three categories.
*
Emma Schipp and
Julia Meyer have also been productive scorers for Rose-Hulman, averaging 9.5 and 7.1 points per game, respectively.
* Schipp ranks second on the team in rebounding, with 6.0 boards per game.
* The Fightin' Engineers were picked to finish sixth in the HCAC preseason coaches poll, receiving 46 poll points.

Jamie Baum earned 1st-team all-HCAC honors, and
Grace Roland was named the HCAC Newcomer of the Year last season.
* After hosting Anderson, Rose-Hulman will continue conference play, hosting the Earlham Quakers on Wednesday, December 18, at 7 PM.
ANDERSON NOTES:
* Anderson enters the weekend with a record of 5-4 overall and 2-1 in the HCAC.
* The Ravens have won their last three games defeating St. Mary's 81-64, Franklin 91-86, and Berea 67-57.
* Izzy Davis leads the team with 14.1 points per game this year.
* The team has two other players averaging double figures including Sarah Sewak (11.4) and Bella Larrison (11.0).
* Larrison is the team's leading rebounder averaging 6.7 rebounds per game.
* Anderson has been selected to finish seventh in the HCAC preseason poll earning 36 points.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, Anderson will travel to face Ball State in an exhibition on Thursday, December 19 at 6:30 PM.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman trails in the all-time series between both teams with a record of 21-25 against the Ravens.
* The Fightin' Engineers split last season earning a win in the first game against the Ravens 83-72 and falling short in an overtime loss in the second game 71-68.
