TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team hosts the Earlham College Quakers in HCAC action on Wednesday, December 18 at 7 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman sits in a tie for third in the HCAC standings with a record of 4-5 overall and 2-1 in the HCAC.
* The team is coming off an 83-67 win over Anderson on Saturday afternoon.

Jamie Baum has been the star for Rose-Hulman this year, leading the team with 20.0 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game. She is also shooting 44.4% from beyond the arc and totaling 27 steals and 14 blocks, leading the team in all three categories.
* Baum was named the HCAC Player of the Week last week after averaging 23.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 2.5 blocks, and 2.5 assists en route to a 2-0 week for Rose-Hulman.

Emma Schipp and
Sophia Reese have also been productive scorers, averaging 9.4 and 7.9 points per game.
* Schipp also ranks second on the team with 5.8 rebounds per game.
* The Fightin' Engineers were picked to finish sixth in the HCAC preseason coaches poll, receiving 46 poll points.

Jamie Baum earned 1st-team all-HCAC honors, and
Grace Roland was named the HCAC Newcomer of the Year last season.
* After hosting Earlham, Rose-Hulman will hit the road to face Spalding on Friday, December 20, at 7 PM, in their final non-conference game of the season.
EARLHAM NOTES:
* Earlham enters the midweek contest with a record of 3-6 overall and 0-3 in the HCAC.
* The Quakers are coming off a loss to Mount St. Joseph with a final score of 63-57.
* Berkley Shelton and Jay Bright lead the team, averaging double figures in scoring with 11.4 and 11.2 points per game.
* Shelton is the top rebounder for the Quakers with 8.0 rebounds per game.
* Jay Bright has also been a standout, leading the team with 24 steals and 20 assists.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, the Quakers will travel to Wooster, Ohio for a non-conference contest with the College of Wooster on Monday, December 30, at 2 PM.

* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 25-12 against Earlham.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won their last five games against Earlham, dating back to the 2020-21 season.
