TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team returns to their home floor for their first conference game of the season against Manchester on Wednesday, December 4 at 7:30 PM.

* Rose-Hulman stands at 1-4 as they get set to begin conference play against Manchester on Wednesday.
* The Fightin' Engineers come off two tough losses to #11 WashU and DePauw in the Midwest Challenge this past weekend.Â

Jamie Baum has been the star for Rose-Hulman this year leading the team with 19.8 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game.
* She also leads the team shooting 46.3% from the field, 47.6% from beyond the arc, and 81.8% from the free throw line.Â
* Baum has also been the defensive standout totaling 12 steals and three blocks this year.Â

Emma Schipp (9.2) and
Julia Meyer (8.6) have also been productive scorers for Rose-Hulman.Â
* Schipp has also been active on the boards ranking second on the team with 6.6 rebounds per game.Â
* The Fightin' Engineers have been picked to finish sixth in the HCAC preseason poll receiving 46 points.Â
* The team finished last season with a record of 12-14 overall and 9-9 in the HCAC.Â
* Rose-Hulman advanced to the HCAC Tournament and fell to Franklin in the first round with a final score of 73-69.Â

* After hosting Manchester, Rose-Hulman will hit the road to continue conference play facing Bluffton on Saturday, December 7 at 1 PM.Â
MANCHESTERÂ NOTES:
* Manchester enters the midweek contest with a record of 1-3 overall this season.Â
* The Spartans come off a loss to Elmhurst last Saturday in an exciting game with a final score of 69-67.
* Abigail Rosenkrans is the team's leading scorer and rebounder with 16.3 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game.
* The Spartans have three other players averaging double figures in scoring including Kayla Gibbs (12.3), Kinsey Atkins (11.8), and Hailee Kline (10.0).
* After facing Rose-Hulman, Manchester will return to action hosting Earlham on Saturday, December 7 at 1 PM.Â
