TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team will continue their conference schedule traveling to take on Bluffton University on Saturday, December 7 at 3 PM. Tickets are on sale at the link above. It will be $10 for an adult and $5 for a senior citizen or child under the age of 12.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman enters the weekend with a record of 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the HCAC this season.
* The team comes off a big win over the HCAC preseason favorites defeating Manchester with a final score of 84-74.

Miles McGowen leads the team averaging a double-double with 14.8 points per game and 10.4 rebounds per game.
* McGowen has a team-high 48.1% field goal percentage and 14 assists this season.
*
Joey Schmitz is another standout averaging double figures in scoring ith 11.0 points per game.
* Schmitz also leads the team with nine steals.

Daniel Savovic has also been a playmaker for the Fightin' Engineers averaging 9.8 points per game.
* The Fightin' Engineers have been picked to finish fourth in the HCAC preseason poll receiving 53 points.
* The team finished last season with a record of 12-14 overall and 10-8 in the conference.
* Rose-Hulman advanced to the HCAC Tournament falling to Hanover in the opening round in a close game 62-58.

Miles McGowen earned 2nd-team all-HCAC honors last season and has been named a Player to Watch by the HCAC for the upcoming year.
* McGowen led the team last season in points averaging 15.8 and rebounds averaging 9.4 last season.
* After traveling to Bluffton, Rose-Hulman hit the road to take on Millikin on Wednesday, December 11 at 7 PM CT.
BLUFFTON NOTES:
* Bluffton enters the weekend with a record of 1-5 overall and 0-1 in the HCAC.
* The team comes off a loss to Mount St. Joseph University in their HCAC opener with a final score of 79-78.
* Nevin Robson leads the team with 15.2 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game.
* The Beavers have two other players averaging double figures in scoring including Brendan Williams (14.0) and Michael Stammen (12.0).
* Ian Snelling has also made an impact leading the team with 12 assists this season.
* Bluffton has been selected to finish ninth in the HCAC preseason poll receiving 24 points.
* After hosting Rose-Hulman, Bluffton will continue their HCAC schedule traveling to face Transylvania on Saturday, December 14 at 4 PM.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 23-10 against Bluffton.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won eight straight games against the Beavers dating back to the 2019 season.
* Rose-Hulman defeated Bluffton last season in both of their match ups with scores of 69-68 and 77-66.
