RESULTS

WOOSTER, Ohio -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's swimming and diving team earned a sixth-place finish in the Wooster Invitational with a team score of 719.

Catherine Bath led the Fightin' Engineers with the lone first-place finish as she swam the 500 Freestyle in a time of 5:10.58.

Cate Stauffer also brought home a pair of top-2 finishes as she finished 2nd in the 200 IM with a time of 2:09.13, just 0.30 seconds from the school record, and the 400 IM with a time of 4:38.72. Stauffer went on to claim a third-place finish on the last day of competition in the 200 Butterfly with the second-fastest time in school history in the event at 2:14.54.

Ritu Bharamaraddi found her way into the record book on Friday night as she swam the second-fastest 100 Backstroke time in RHIT history with a time of 1:00.04.

The Fightin' Engineers return to action on Friday, January 10 as they travel to face Valparaiso at 5 PM CT.
