Women's Basketball Hosts Earlham in Home Finale on Tuesday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team hosts the Earlham College Quakers on Tuesday, February 13 at 7:30 pm for their final home game of the season.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes in at 11-12 on the season and 8-8 in the HCAC on the season.
* The Fightin' Engineers have dropped 4 of their last 5 after a pair of narrow losses to Hanover and Mount St. Joseph this past week. Rose-Hulman fell by five to Hanover on Wednesday and to Mt. St. Joseph by seven on Saturday.
* Rose-Hulman fell to 0-3 in one-possession games and 1-6 in two-possession games with their five-point loss on Wednesday.
* Jamie Baum scored a career-high 31 points in Saturday's win over Defiance which is the 7th-most points scored in a game in school history. She is 6th in the HCAC with 13.1 points/game, and she leads the HCAC in minutes/game.
* Grace Roland is ranked 7th in the HCAC with 7.0 rebounds per game, 10th with 11.5 points per game, and 8th with 21 blocks. Roland has the team-high in points in a game this season with 32 in the win over Elmhurst.
* Manuella Shomba is 4th in the HCAC in rebounding this season with 7.7, and she is averaging double figures with 10.4 per game.
* Freshman guard Sophia Reese has been dishing out assists all year, and she is 3rd in the HCAC with 3.4 per game this year.
* CK Gallegos-Rodriguez made history in the last win over Defiance as the first in school history to record 5 assists, 5 steals, and 5 blocks in a game.
* Ashley Black ranks top-10 in minutes per game with 29.8, and she is third on the team in points per game with 10.8.
* Rose-Hulman has the top-3 players in the conference in free throws made with Baum (79), Shomba (78), and Roland (77).
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to action on Friday, February 16 as they travel to Franklin for their regular season finale.

EARLHAM NOTES: 
* Earlham comes in at 5-16 overall and 3-13 in the HCAC.
* The Quakers have lost three consecutive games to Mount St. Joseph, Anderson, and Franklin, and 6 of their last 7 overall.
* Jay Bright leads the team in scoring this year with 12.0 points per game. Bright also leads the team with 61 assists and 40 steals on the year.
* Abby Parsons and Alexis Gibbons have lit it up from three this season, shooting 46% and 40% from beyond the arc.
* Earlham makes the fourth-most three-point field goals of any team in the conference this season.
* Bailey Gibson has dominated inside for the Quakers with 19 blocks on the season.
* Earlham closes out the season on Friday night as they host Transylvania on Friday.

* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series over Ealrham 24-12.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won four straight matchups including the 63-50 win earlier this season in which Ashley Black led the team with 17 points.
* The last Earlham win came in 2021 with a 55-43 win in Terre Haute.
