TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis hosts the Wittenberg Tigers on Saturday, February 17 for their home opener at 1 PM at the Terre Haute Tennis and Pickleball Center.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes in at 2-1 after a pair of wins over Trine in the fall season.
* The Fightin' Engineers dropped their first spring match of the season to Illinois Tech, 6-3.
* Grant Paradowski leads the Fightin' Engineers in singles wins this season at 7-2. Freshman Ervin Perkowski has also picked up four wins on the year. with a perfect 4-0 record.
* Paradowski and Owen Reynolds were named First-Team All-HCAC honores in 2022-23.
* A pair of freshman including Dale Loveland and Perkowski pace the team in doubles wins this season with three.
* Rose-Hulman had its streak of seven consecutive HCAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances snapped last year after falling in the HCAC Semifinals. They finished the 2022-23 season at 10-10 with a 4-2 record in the HCAC.
* The Fightin' Engineers will continue their 2024 season on February 26 as they travel to Orlando, Florida for four matches in four days.

WITTENBERG NOTES:
* Wittenberg comes into the match at 0-2 overall. It will be the first match of the spring season for the Tigers.
* The Tigers dropped their two fall matches to Cedarville (6-1) and IU-East (8-1).
* Ethan Libby picked up the lone match win at #1 singles in the loss to Cedarville.
* Andrew Garofoli won the only match against IU-East at #6 singles.
* The Tigers will return to the courts on Sunday, February 18 as they host the Hanover Panthers at 9 AM.

SERIES HISTORY:
* Wittenberg won the lone match between these two team in the history of their programs.
* The Tigers took down Rose-Hulman 5-4 in 2014 at DePauw.
