Men's Basketball Faces Hanover Panthers in HCAC Tournament Sunday at 4 PM

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Fightin' Engineers men's basketball team will travel to face Hanover College on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 4 PM in the opening round of the HCAC Tournament.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman finished the regular season with a record of 12-13 overall and 10-8 in the HCAC.
* The Fightin' Engineers wrapped up the regular season with a win over Franklin College on Senior Day with a final score of 68-66.
* Rose secured the sixth spot in the HCAC Tournament with their win over Earlham College in the second-last game of the regular season with a final score of 81-62.
* Miles McGowen has been the standout this season totaling 10 double-doubles and averaging 15.7 points per game and 9.3 rebounds per game.
* McGowen leads the team and the conference with a field goal percentage of .545.
* His 9.3 rebounds per game ranks third in the conference.
* Bradley Harden leads the team and ranks sixth in the conference with 86 assists this season. 
* Cole Pride has been the protector at the rim leading the team and ranking third in the conference with 30 blocked shots.
* If Rose-Hulman advances, they will travel to face Transylvania in the Semifinal on Friday, Feb. 23 at 7 PM.

HANOVER NOTES:
* Hanover enters the tournament as the three seed in the HCAC Tournament after finishing the regular season with a record of 16-9 overall and 12-6 in the HCAC. 
* The team earned an exciting win to end the regular season over Mount St. Joseph University with a final score of 71-70. 
* The team is led by Ty Houston averaging 15.4 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game. 
* Max Greenamoyer follows him averaging 9.9 points per game.
* If Hanover advances, they will travel to face Transylvania in the Semifinal on Friday, Feb. 23 at 7 PM.

SERIES HISTORY:
* The Fightin' Engineers trail Hanover in the all-time series between both teams with a record of 46-59 against the Panthers. 
* Rose-Hulman has suffered two losses to the Panthers during the regular season with final scores of 74-59 and 75-51. 
* The last time the Engineers defeated the Panthers was during the 2020-21 season with a final score of 86-62.
