ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team fell to Davenport in their third match of their 2024 spring trip on Wednesday morning.
After dropping all three doubles matches, the team looked to bounce back with their singles matches. Freshmen
Brooke Carpenter and
Catherine Millwood battled in their matches before falling 6-3, 6-0 and 6-2, 6-3.
At #1 singles,
Taylor Goldman fought hard and won the second set 6-4, but she fell in the third set tiebreak 10-4.
The Fightin' Engineers fall to 0-6 on the season with three of their losses coming to Division I and Division II opponents. They will return to action on Thursday with their final match of the week as they travel to Bartow, Florida to take on the Warner Royals.
