Men's Tennis Travels to Warner for Final Game of Trip

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis plays their final match of the 2024 spring trip on Thursday, February 29 at 1 PM as they travel to Bartow, Florida to take on the Warner University Royals.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes in at 5-2 overall with a pair of wins over Trine and a win over Wittenberg.
* The Fightin' Engineers opened their 2024 spring trip with a pair of wins over Wartburg and Alma on Monday before falling to Davenport yesterday.
* Freshman Elijah Hadler was named the HCAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week after winning his first career collegiate matches in both singles and doubles against Wittenberg on Saturday, February 17.
Grant Paradowski leads the Fightin' Engineers in singles wins this season at 10-3. Freshman Ervin Perkowski has also picked up six wins on the year with a perfect 6-0 record.
* Chris Lian, Hadler, Owen Reynolds, Rhian Seneviratne, and Renato Prado have all added four singles wins.
* Perkowski also paces the team in doubles wins this season with seven. Lian has added six, and Grant Paradowski has five.
* Rose-Hulman had its streak of seven consecutive HCAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances snapped last year after falling in the HCAC Semifinals. They finished the 2022-23 season at 10-10 with a 4-2 record in the HCAC.
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to the court on Saturday, March 9 as they travel to Manchester to take on the Spartans in their HCAC opener.

WARNER NOTES:
* Warner comes in at 1-1 overall on the season.
* The Royals picked up a win over Gustavus Adolphus and fell to Saint Leo.
* Warner has played four matches in the past two weeks, but the results of those matches have not been reported.
* After playing Rose-Hulman, the Royals will host Division I Mt. St. Mary's on Friday.

SERIES HISTORY:
* This will be the first-ever meeting between Rose-Hulman and Warner in men's tennis.
