TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team opens their 2024 spring season on Saturday, February 10 for a home doubleheader against Division-I foe IUPUI. The match will be held indoors at the Terre Haute Bubble rather than on campus.

ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* This will be the first dual match of the season for the Fightin' Engineers.
* In the fall, Rose-Hulman played in the DePauw Invitational and the ITA Regional tournament.
* Rose-Hulman was picked to finish 2nd in the HCAC this spring after their 3rd place finish in 2022-23.
* Taylor Goldman leads the Fightin' Engineers with four singles wins this season.
* Ruby Kauffman and Wynne Aldrich have each added three singles wins.
* In doubles, Goldman and Aldrich lead with three wins, and Ella Dorfmueller and Kauffman come in at 2-1.
* The Fightin' Engineers will continue their 2024 season next week as they host the Wittenberg Tigers on Saturday, February 17 at 1 PM.

IUPUI NOTES:
* The Jaguars come into this weekend's match at 1-2 on the season.
* IUPUI picked up their lone win 4-3 over Eastern Illinois on January 28. They have dropped matches to Dayton and Western Illinois.
* Sophomore Grace Lampman leads the Jaguars in wins this season with 2 in singles and 1 in doubles.
* Freshman Elle Korte has added a pair of singles wins.
* Lampman and Sophomore Emma Dell are the only two returning players on the IUPUI roster from last year's win over Rose-Hulman.
* The Jaguars will return to the court next weekend with a pair of home matches against Lindenwood and Colorado.

SERIES HISTORY:
* IUPUI leads the all-time series 4-0 over the Fightin' Engineers.
* The Jaguars won 7-0 and 4-0 in last season's doubleheader.
* The lone individual match that the Fightin' Engineers have won over IUPUI was the #1 doubles match in 1997 featuring Marcie Kam and Christine Winters.
