Women's Tennis Takes on DePauw in Tuesday's Midweek Showdown

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team returns to the court on Tuesday, March 12 at 5:30 PM as they travel to Greencastle to take on the DePauw Tigers. There will be no live video or live scoring for the match.

ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers come into the match at 1-7 on the season with a very hard schedule. The teams has played four of their seven matches against Division I or Division II opponents.
* Rose-Hulman picked up their first win of the season on Saturday with a 9-0 result against Manchester.
* Taylor Goldman leads the Fightin' Engineers with eight singles wins this season.
* Wynne Aldrich has also added seven singles wins after a 3-1 week in singles in Florida.
* In doubles, Goldman and Aldrich lead with seven wins, and Ella Dorfmueller has added a pair.
* Brooke Carpenter, Kiana Martin, and Cathrine Millwood all picked up their first wins of the season in Saturday's win over Manchester.
* Rose-Hulman was picked to finish 2nd in the HCAC this spring after their 3rd place finish in 2022-23.
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to their home courts on Saturday, March 16 as they host the Hanover Panthers in their second HCAC match of the year.

DEPAUW NOTES:
* DePauw comes in at 4-4 on the season and 0-0 in the NCAC.
* The Tigers have won three consecutive matches against Hanover (9-0), Transylvania (8-1), and Huntington (6-3).
* Bella DeNardo and Valerie Doherty lead the team with 6 singles wins on the season.
* In doubles, Katie King has been the top performer with 6 wins, and Doherty has also added five wins in doubles.
* DePauw will return to action on March 24 as they travel to Florida for three matches at the USTA National Campus against Kalamazoo, Warner (FL), and Union (NY).

SERIES HISTORY:
* DePauw leads the all-time series 18-0 over Rose-Hulman.
* The Fightin' Engineers have never beaten the Tigers in their 26 years of match history.
* Rose-Hulman is 0-14 at DePauw all-time.
* The Fightin' Engineers have only won an individual match once in the last seven meetings when they fell 7-2 in 2021.
