GREENCASTLE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team traveled to face DePauw University on Wednesday night. The team suffered a loss to the Tigers with a final score of 8-1 to drop to 6-4 overall on the season.
Rose-Hulman fell behind early after DePauw was able to sweep the doubles competition 3-0.
Elijah Hadler picked up the Fightin' Engineers only win in No. 1 singles with a score of 6-3, 6-2.
Chris Lian put up a strong fight in No. 6 singles. After falling in the first set 6-2, he bounced back to win set two 6-1. Lian fell short in the third set tiebreaker with a final score of 10-4.
Rose-Hulman will return to conference play hosting Hanover College on Saturday, March 16 at 12 PM.
