TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team rolled to an 8-1 victory over the Panthers on Saturday.
The Fightin' Engineers opened it up with a quick 3-0 lead with a sweep of doubles.
Rhian Seneviratne and
Elijah Hadler led the way with an 8-2 victory at #1.
In singles,
Owen Reynolds cruised to a 6-4, 6-0 victory, and
Grant Paradowski outlasted his opponent at #3 singles to clinch the victory.
Ervin Perkowski, Paradowski, and Reynolds would each finish the day with a perfect 2-0 record.
Andrew Leonard and
Renato Prado added wins at #6 and #5 singles to close out the 8-1 victory.
Rose-Hulman improves to 7-4 on the season and 2-0 in the HCAC. The Fightin' Engineers return to action on Saturday, March 23 as they host the Anderson Ravens in an HCAC showdown.
