TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis opens HCAC play on Sunday at 10:30 AM as they travel to North Manchester to take on the Spartans.
ROSE-HULMANÂ NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman comes in at 5-3 overall and 5-1 against Division III opponents on the season.
* The Fightin' Engineers finished their spring trip at 2-2 overall with wins over Alma and Wartburg and losses to Davenport and Warner.
* Freshman
Elijah Hadler was named the HCAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week after winning his first career collegiate matches in both singles and doubles against Wittenberg on Saturday, February 17.

Grant Paradowski leads the Fightin' Engineers in singles wins this season at 10-3. The freshman duo ofÂ
Ervin Perkowski and
Chris Lian have also played lights out with 6 and 5 singles wins this season.
* Perkowski also paces the team in doubles wins this season with eight. Lian and Paradowski have added five doubles wins.
* Rose-Hulman had its streak of seven consecutive HCAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances snapped last year after falling in the HCAC Semifinals. They finished the 2022-23 season at 10-10 with a 4-2 record in the HCAC.
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to the court on Wednesday, March 13 at 5:30 PM as they travel to Greencastle to take on the DePauw Tigers.
MANCHESTER NOTES:
* Manchester comes in at 1-7 on the season and 0-3 in HCAC play.
* The Spartans have dropped all three of their HCAC matches 8-1 to Franklin, Hanover, and Transylvania.
* Manchester fell to Trine 9-0 in their only match with a common opponent for Rose-Hulman. The Fightin' Engineers beat Trine 7-2 and 5-4 in the fall.
* Henry Blakley is the only Manchester player with multiple singles wins on the year with a 4-4 record.
* Andrew Schrier and Anthony Bau have been the best doubles team at the #2 spot with a 3-5 overall record.
* The Spartans will return to action on Thursday, March 14 as they travel to Trine to take on the Thunder for the second time this season.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads Manchester 24-4 in a series that began in 1990.
* Rose-Hulman has won 13 consecutive matches over Manchester.
