TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team travels to Franklin on Saturday, April 20 at 11 AM for an HCAC contest with the Grizzlies.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman enters the match with a record of 9-5 overall and 3-0 in the HCAC. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have wins in four of their last six matches over Manchester, Hanover, Anderson, and Principia with the lone losses coming to DePauw and Greenville.
* Grant Paradowski leads the Fightin' Engineers in singles wins this season at 13-6 overall, and freshman Ervin Perkowski has also played lights out with 11 singles wins this season.
* Perkowski also paces the team in doubles wins this season with 12, and Paradowski has added 10. Chris Lian has also added nine doubles wins for the Fightin' Engineers, and Owen Reynolds and Rhian Seneviratne have added eight.
* Rose-Hulman had its streak of seven consecutive HCAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances snapped last year after falling in the HCAC Semifinals. They finished the 2022-23 season at 10-10 with a 4-2 record in the HCAC.
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to action on Tuesday, April 23 as they travel to Earlham College to battle the Quakers at 4 PM.

FRANKLIN NOTES:
* Franklin comes in at 7-10 overall on the season and 1-2 in the HCAC in 2023-24.
* The Grizzlies come in on a three-match losing streak after falling to Hanover 5-4, Greenville 6-0, and IU-Southeaster 9-0.
* Franklin's last win came on March 29 as they beat Brevard College 6-3.
* Marcus Cox leads Franklin with 10 singles wins on the season at #4 and #5 singles.
* In doubles, Shay Kyser has paced the Grizzlies with an 11-6 overall record, mostly at the #3 doubles spot.
* After playing Rose-Hulman, Franklin will travel to Anderson to take on the Ravens on Sunday afternoon.

SERIES HISTORY:
* The Fightin' Engineers lead the all-time series 35-9 over the Franklin Grizzlies.
* Rose-Hulman has won the last 10 matches between the two teams, including a 5-4 victory in 202-23.
* Grant Paradowski and Andrew Leonard led Rose-Hulman's win last season with wins in both singles and doubles.
* Franklin's last win against Rose-Hulman came in 2012-13 with the Grizzlies picking up a 5-4 win in Franklin.
