FRANKLIN, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team picked up an 8-1 win at Franklin to improve to a perfect 4-0 record in the HCAC this season.
The Fightin' Engineers opened the match with a 3-0 advantage with an 8-2 win at #2 doubles and 8-4 wins at #1 and #3 doubles.
In singles,
Ervin Perkowski cruised at #4 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Rose-Hulman then clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-3 win at #2 singles by
Owen Reynolds.
Elijah Hadler would win 6-4, 6-4 at #1 singles, and
Grant Paradowski added a 7-5, 6-1 win at #3 singles.
Renato Prado rounded out the 8-1 victory with a three-set victory at the #6 singles spot.
Rose-Hulman improves to 10-5 on the season and 4-0 in the HCAC with the win. They will return to action on Tuesday, April 23 as they travel to Earlham for their penultimate HCAC match of the season.
