TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's tennis team hosts the Transylvania Pioneers on Saturday, April 27 at 12 PM with the HCAC Regular Season title up for grabs. The winner of the match will earn the #1 overall seed in the HCAC Tournament and the regular season championship. With the match moving indoors to the Terre Haute Tennis and Pickleball Center, there will be no live stream for the event.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers come into the match at 4-11 on the season against a very difficult schedule. The team has played five of their 15 matches against non-Division III opponents.
* Rose-Hulman currently has a perfect 4-0 record in the HCAC this season. They picked up a 9-0 win over Manchester, a 7-2 win over Hanover, a 6-3 win over Anderson, and an 8-1 win over Franklin.
* Wynne Aldrich leads the team with 14 singles wins on the season. Taylor Goldman has also added double digit singles wins with 12.
* Camille Clark has also added four singles wins for the Fightin' Engineers.
* In doubles, Goldman and Aldrich lead with 12 wins, and Ella Dorfmueller has added five wins.
* Rose-Hulman was picked to finish 2nd in the HCAC this spring after their 3rd place finish in 2022-23.
* The Fightin' Engineers will return to action on Sunday, April 28 as they travel to Earlham College to battle the Quakers at 11 AM in the regular season finale.

TRANSYLVANIA NOTES:
* The Pioneers come in at 10-7 overall and 5-0 in the HCAC.
* Transylvania is on a six match winning streak, and they have wins in eight of their last nine with the lone loss coming to Hope.
* The Pioneers have only dropped four points in the last six matches.
* This will be the final match of the season for Transylvania before the HCAC Tournament. Both Rose-Hulman and Transylvania have earned byes in the first round and will play in the HCAC Semifinals on May 4 in Lexington, Kentucky.

SERIES HISTORY:
* The Fightin' Engineers lead the all-time series 14-10 over the Pioneers.
* Transylvania has won the last seven matches against Rose-Hulman including a 9-0 win in 2022.
* Rose-Hulman has not picked up a point in a match against the Pioneers since the 2020-2021 season.
* Rose-Hulman had won 10 of the previous 11 matches before that 7-match losing streak.
* The Fightin' Engineers are 4-3 all-time on their home courts against the Pioneers.
