Tim Youndt became the sixth All-American of the 2023-24 season for the Fightin' Engineers after earning 1st-Team All-American honors with a 8th-place finish in the Triple Jump on Saturday afternoon.
After coming in seeded 21st out of the 22 competing athletes, Youndt jumped a career-best mark of 48' 1.75" and 14.67 meters on his third attempt of the qualifying round to earn a trip to the Triple Jump finals where he would finish in 8th-place.
He is the 60th All-American in Rose-Hulman track and field history and the 114th All-American in the history of Rose-Hulman.
The All-American award for Youndt is the first of his career. He is just the third Triple Jump All-American in Rose-Hulman history, joining Tony Allen and Trey Sykes.
