TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's tennis team is set to take on Franklin College in the HCAC Semifinal on Saturday, May 4 at 3 PM in Nicholasville, Ky. at Top Seed Tennis Club. The winner will advance to the HCAC Championship on Sunday, May 5 at 1 PM against the winner of Transylvania and Anderson. There will be no live stats or live video for this match.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman finished the regular season with a record of 12-5 overall and 6-0 in the HCAC to earn the #1 seed in the HCAC Tournament.
* The Fightin' Engineers have wins in six of their last seven matches over Earlham, Transylvania, Franklin, Principia, Anderson, and Hanover.

Grant Paradowski leads the Fightin' Engineers in singles wins this season at 15-6 overall, and freshman
Ervin Perkowski has also played lights out with 14 singles wins this season.
* Perkowski also paces the team in doubles wins this season with 15, and Paradowski has added 12.

Rhian Seneviratne have also added 10 doubles wins for the Fightin' Engineers.
* Rose-Hulman had its streak of seven consecutive HCAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances snapped last year after falling in the HCAC Semifinals. They finished the 2022-23 season at 10-10 with a 4-2 record in the HCAC.
* With a win over the Grizzlies, Rose-Hulman will advance to the HCAC Championship against the winner of Transylvania and Anderson on Sunday.
FRANKLIN NOTES:
* Franklin enters the match with a record of 9-12 overall this season after defeating Hanover in the opening round of the HCAC Tournament with a final score of 8-1.
* The team earned the #5 seed in the HCAC Tournament after finishing the regular season with a record of 2-4 in the HCAC.
* Marcus Cox leads the team in singles wins with a record of 11-7 this season. Nathan Jarboe ranks second on the team with eight singles wins.
* Shay Kyser is the team's leader in doubles victories with a record of 13-8 this season. Jarboe and Lucas Densford have both contributed 10 doubles wins this year.
* If Franklin defeats Rose-Hulman they will advance to the HCAC Championship against the winner of Transylvania and Anderson on Sunday.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads Franklin in the all-time series between both teams with a record of 36-9 against the Grizzlies.
* The Fightin' Engineers defeated Franklin earlier this season with a final score of 8-1.
