DANVILLE, Ky. -- The Rose-Hulman women's soccer team traveled to face Centre on Sunday afternoon. The team suffered a loss to Centre with a final score of 3-0.
Centre was able to control the possession out-shooting the Fightin' Engineers 18-5 in the match. The team got to the net twice in the first half to build a commanding lead.
Centre sealed the win with another goal in the 53rd minute to defeat the Fightin' Engineers.
Kyra Hicks led Rose-Hulman with two shots on goal in the match.
Lily Doré represented the team in goal with five saves.
Rose-Hulman will return to action facing Greenville on Wednesday, September 18 at 7 PM for Staff and Professor Appreciation Night.
