TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's volleyball team will return home to host DePauw on Wednesday, September 18 at 7 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman enters their match against DePauw with a record of 5-7 overall this season.
* The team comes off a 2-2 finish in the Wheaton Invitational picking up wins over Lawrence 3-0 and Beloit 3-0.
* Lily Ebright has been a standout defensively leading the team and NCAA Division III with 339 digs and 7.06 digs per set.
* Hannah Bergfeld became the sixth person in school history to record a triple-double in a match earlier this season. 
* Bergfeld recorded a triple-double against Olivet with 10 kills, 22 assists, and 14 digs, and against Trine with 10 kills, 27 assists, and 17 digs. 
* She currently leads the HCAC and ranks third in all of NCAA Division III with two triple-doubles this season.
* Desiree Beverley has been the impact maker offensively leading the team with 129 kills averaging 2.69 kills per set.
* Jillian Gregg has also been a playmaker on offense with 97 kills averaging 2.02 kills per set. 
* Amaya Harrell has been a staple on the defense leading the team with 23.0 blocks this season. 
*The Fightin' Engineers have been selected to finish fifth in this year's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference preseason poll receiving 46 points. 
* Rose-Hulman finished in sixth place in the conference last season with a 15-14 record overall and a 4-5 conference record. 
* The squad returns two all-conference players from last year including Lily Ebright and Jillian Gregg.
* Ebright has been named the HCAC Defensive Player of the Year in the last two seasons. 
* After hosting DePauw, Rose-Hulman will travel to compete in the Denison Tri-Match facing John Carroll and Denison on Saturday, September 21 at 2 PM and 4 PM. 

DEPAUW NOTES:
* DePauw enters the midweek match against Rose-Hulman with a record of 7-3 overall this season. 
* The team is coming off an impressive performance in the Viking Classic going 3-0 picking up wins against Buena Vista 3-0, Greenville 3-2, and Augustana 3-2.
* The Tigers are led by Kaiden Harrington with 92 kills averaging 2.49 kills per set this season. 
* Olivia Karwin has also been an offensive weapon for the Tigers totaling 78 kills with 2.11 kills per set.
* Grace Myers is the defensive star for DePauw with 166 digs averaging 4.49 digs per set. 
* Ashley Haas is another defensive standout leading the team with 19.0 blocks this year.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, DePauw will travel to take on Trine on Saturday, September 21 at 1 PM. 

SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman trails in the all-time series between both teams with a record of 4-35 against the Tigers.
* DePauw earned a win during last season's match with a final score of 3-0.
* Rose-Hulman defeated the Tigers during the 2022 season with a final score of 3-1. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have a record of 3-10 when hosting DePauw.
