TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team will travel to take on Webster University on Wednesday, September 4 at 5:30 PM CT.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stands at 0-1 overall after a loss in their first match of the season against Ohio Northern with a final score of 3-0.
* Rose-Hulman has been selected to finish third in this year's HCAC preseason poll receiving 64 points and one first-place vote. 
* The team finished fourth overall in the HCAC last season compiling a record of 8-4-5 overall and 5-2-1 in the HCAC. 
* The Fightin' Engineers fell short in the semifinal round of the HCAC Tournament against Hanover College with a final score of 2-0. 
* The squad returns four all-conference players including Lily Doré, Kyra Hicks, Lauren Marquardt, and Kiana Martin. 
* The four all-conference returners along with Jayden Gibson have been named as players to watch for the upcoming season by the HCAC. 
* After facing Webster, Rose-Hulman will travel to face Illinois Tech on Saturday, September 7 at 1 PM CT.

WEBSTER NOTES:
* The Gorlocks stand at 1-0 overall this season after defeating Beloit College in their season opener with a final score of 4-3.
* Webster has been selected as the favorite to win the SLIAC in the league's preseason poll. 
* The team finished last season with an overall record of 11-4-1 and a perfect 8-0 record against conference teams. 
* Grace Rodgers returns for her senior year after earning Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference last season.
* Second Team All-Conference and Newcomer of the Year last season Malaya Blakely also returns as a pivotal weapon for Webster.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, Webster will host Benedictine University on Saturday, September 7 at 12 PM.
