TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's soccer team will travel to face Illinois Tech on Saturday, September 7 at 1 PM CT.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stands at 0-2 so far this season after falling to Ohio Northern 3-0 and Webster 1-0.
* Rose-Hulman has been selected to finish third in this year's HCAC preseason poll receiving 64 points and one first-place vote.Â
* The team finished fourth overall in the HCAC last season compiling a record of 8-4-5 overall and 5-2-1 in the HCAC.Â
* The Fightin' Engineers fell short in the semifinal round of the HCAC Tournament against Hanover College with a final score of 2-0.Â
* The squad returns four all-conference players including
 Lily Doré, Kyra Hicks, Lauren Marquardt, and Kiana Martin.Â

ILLINOIS TECH NOTES:
* The Scarlet Hawks enter the contest with Rose-Hulman with a record of 0-1 so far this season after a loss to Calvin University with a final of 4-0.
* The team hosts Carroll University on Thursday night at 7 PM.Â
* Illinois Tech has been selected to win the NACC in this year's preseason poll receiving 379 points and 21 first-place votes.Â
* The team returns nine all-conference players including Gabriella Baltes, Mary Frampton, Allison Murray, Lucy Jorjorian, Caitie Chismarish, Hailey Flannagan, Kelly Hitchcock, and Jillian Oligschlaeger.
* The team finished last season with a record of 19-3-1 overall and a perfect 13-0-0 record against conference opponents.
* The Scarlet Hawks failed to claim the NACC Tournament title falling to MSOE in the championship match with a final of 1-0.
