TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team will begin their fall season on the road facing Anderson in a non-conference match up at 2:30 PM CT and Illinois College at 5:00 PM CT on Saturday, September 7.

ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team has been picked to finish second in the HCAC preseason poll receiving 39 points in a tie with Anderson. 
* The team finished last season with a record of 5-14 overall and 4-2 in the HCAC. 
* The Fightin' Engineers finished last season as the conference runner-ups in the regular season and the post-season tournament falling to Transylvania in the HCAC championship match. 
* The squad returns All-Conference performer Camille Clark for her junior season.
* Three freshmen were also named as Players to Watch for the upcoming season including Emerson Donaldson, Lia Taylor, and Addie Patterson. 
* After facing Anderson and Illinois College, the team will travel to compete in the DePauw Invitational on Saturday, September 14. 

ANDERSON NOTES:
* Anderson has been picked to finish tied for second in the HCAC preseason poll receiving 39 points.
* The team finished last season with a record of 9-13 overall and 4-2 in the HCAC. 
* Ella Frantz, Gabby Hosier, and Morgan Nation are the team's returning All-Conference performers from last season.
* Other players to watch for the upcoming season include Ela Maiden, Kate Oberle, Paula Torrent, and Abigail Cunningham.
* After facing Rose-Hulman and Illinois College, the Ravens will travel to face Greenville on Friday, September 13 at 11 AM. 

ILLINOIS COLLEGE NOTES:
* The Lady Blues have been picked to finish fourth in the MWC preseason poll receiving 20 points. 
* Last season, Illinois College finished with a record of 9-13 overall and 2-4 in the MWC. 
* The team earned a spot in the MWC Tournament falling to top-seeded Grinnell College with a final of 5-0. 
* The team returns seniors Michelle Maag and Hannah Lueke as players to watch this upcoming season.
* After Rose-Hulman, the Lady Blues will host Westminster College (MO) on Sunday, September 8 at 1 PM. 

ANDERSON SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 16-10 overall.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won the past two matches against the Ravens.
* The last time the teams met was during the HCAC Tournament Semifinal last season with Rose-Hulman earning the win 5-2.

ILLINOIS COLLEGE SERIES HISTORY:
* The team leads the all-time series with a record of 1-0 against Illinois College.
* The only match up between the two programs was during the 1999-2000 season with Rose-Hulman earning the win 8-1.
