TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's swimming and diving team picked up a big win over Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday to improve to 2-2 on the year in dual meets. The Fightin' Engineers defeated the Titans with a final score of 164-108.

This is the first time in program history that the women's team has defeated Illinois Wesleyan. The team stood 0-10 against the Titans before this weekend's victory. 

Rose-Hulman finished the day with 12 event wins to take down the Titans. The team was led by Cate Stauffer with four event wins in the 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle, the 400 IM, and as a member of the 200 medley relay team. 

Catherine Bath also had an exceptional performance, winning three events in the 1000 freestyle, the 200 butterfly, and as a member of the 200 medley relay team. 

Audrey Hankins led the Fightin' Engineers in the diving competition claiming first place in both the 1-meter and 3-meter.

Rose-Hulman will return to the pool traveling to compete in the Olivet Nazarene Tri-Meet on Saturday, January 18. Diving will begin at 12 PM CT and swimming events will start at 1:30 PM CT.
