TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team will continue conference play, traveling to North Manchester, Indiana, to take on the Manchester University Spartans on Wednesday, January 22, at 7 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands at 7-9 overall and 4-5 in the HCAC this season.
* The Fightin' Engineers rank tied for sixth in the HCAC standings with Manchester with a conference mark of 4-5. 
* The team comes off a competitive loss to Franklin College with a final score of 65-64.
* Jamie Baum has been the star for Rose-Hulman this year, leading the team with 17.4 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game.
* She is also shooting 40% from beyond the arc and totaling 34 steals and 25 blocks, leading the team in all three categories.
* Emma Schipp and Sophia Reese have been productive scorers for the Fightin' Engineers, averaging 9.8 points per game each. Schipp also ranks second on the team with 6.0 rebounds per game. 
* Rose-Hulman was picked to finish sixth in the HCAC preseason coaches poll, receiving 46 poll points. 
* Jamie Baum earned 1st-team all-HCAC honors last season.
* After facing Manchester, Rose-Hulman cap off the three-game road trip as they travel to Lexington, Kentucky, to take on the Transylvania Pioneers on Saturday, January 25, at 1 PM. 

MANCHESTER NOTES:
* Manchester stands at 7-8 overall and 4-5 in the HCAC this season.
* The team stands in a tie for sixth place in the conference standings with Rose-Hulman.
* The Spartans have lost their last two games against conference opponents, falling to Anderson 66-57 and Transylvania 69-50.
* Abigail Rosenkrans leads the team with 17.2 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per game. 
* Rosenkrans is also the team leader in assists with 44 and steals with 26.
* Manchester has two other players averaging double figures, including Kayla Gibbs with 10.3 and Hailee Kline with 10.1 points per game. 
* The Spartans have been picked to finish 10th in the HCAC preseason poll, receiving 13 points.
