TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team hosts Franklin College in HCAC action on Wednesday, January 29, at 7 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands at 8-10 overall and 5-6 in the HCAC this season.
* The Fightin' Engineers sit in a tie for sixth place with Berea as both teams are 5-6 in conference play this season.

Jamie Baum has been the star for Rose-Hulman this year, leading the team with 16.6 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game.
* Baum is shooting 38.4% from beyond the arc and leads the team with 40 steals, 28 blocks, and 51 assists.
* The senior guard enters Wednesday's game just seven points away from becoming the 11th player in Rose-Hulman women's basketball history to reach 1,000 career points, despite only playing five games in her sophomore season.

Sophia Reese and
Emma Schipp have been productive scorers for the Fightin' Engineers, averaging 9.2 points per game a piece.
* Schipp also ranks second on the team with 5.8 rebounds per game and 42 assists.
* Rose-Hulman was picked to finish sixth in the HCAC preseason coaches poll, receiving 46 poll points.
* After hosting Franklin, Rose-Hulman will return to their home floor on Saturday, February 1, as they host the Berea Mountaineers at 1 PM.
FRANKLIN NOTES:
* Franklin comes into this week in a tie for third in the conference with a record of 13-5 overall and 7-4 in the HCAC.
* The Grizzlies are coming off a 71-60 win over Bluffton on Saturday.
* Franklin is led by Jordan Coon, averaging 17.2 points per game on the year. Taylor Cooney and Erica Buening are also averaging double-figures for the Grizzlies with 13.1 and 11.0 points per game, respectively.
* Cooney also leads Franklin with 7.2 rebounds per game.
* The Grizzlies were selected to finish fifth in the HCAC preseason poll receiving 49 points.
* After traveling to Terre Haute, Franklin will return to their home gym on Saturday, February 1, as they host the Earlham College Quakers.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman trails the all-time series 21-29 with Franklin College.
* The Fightin' Engineers have lost their last four games against Franklin.
* Three of those last four losses for the Grizzlies have been decided by four points or fewer, including the 65-64 defeat back on January 18 in which Franklin made the game-winning free throw with under one second to go.
* The Grizzlies knocked the Fightin' Engineers out of the HCAC Tournament last season with 73-69 loss at the Spurlock Center.
