TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology women's basketball team hosts Berea at 1 PM on Saturday, February 1.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:

* Rose-Hulman stands at 9-10 overall and 6-6 in the HCAC this season.
* The Fightin' Engineers rank sixth in the HCAC standings just one game ahead of the Berea Mountaineers.
* The team comes off a huge win over Franklin with a final score of 72-57.
* In the game against Franklin, Jamie Baum reached a career milestone becoming the 11th player in school history to surpass 1,000 career points. 
* Baum has been the star for Rose-Hulman this year, leading the team with 16.5 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game.
* Baum is shooting 38% from beyond the arc and leads the team with 42 steals, 34 blocks, and 57 assists.
* Sophia Reese and Emma Schipp have been productive scorers for the Fightin' Engineers averaging 9.4 and 8.8 points per game.
* Schipp also ranks second on the team with 5.7 rebounds per game and 48 assists.
* Rose-Hulman was picked to finish sixth in the HCAC preseason coaches poll, receiving 46 poll points.
* After hosting Berea, Rose-Hulman will hit the road to face Hanover on Wednesday, February 5 at 7 PM. 

BEREA NOTES:

* Berea enters the weekend with a record of 10-9 overall and 5-7 in the HCAC. 
* The Mountaineers rank seventh in the HCAC standings just one game behind Rose-Hulman. 
* The team comes off a loss to Transylvania with a final score of 63-49.
* The team is led by LynKaylah James averaging 13.4 points per game this season. 
* Other double-figure scorers include Jayden Merriweather (11.8) and Drea Satori (10.2).
* Berea has been picked to finish fourth in the HCAC preseason poll receiving 50 points and one first-place vote. 
* After facing Rose-Hulman, Berea will travel to take on Transylvania on Wednesday, February 5 at 7 PM.
