Rose-Hulman Preps for Quarrel with the Quakers

RICHMOND, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers will travel to Richmond, Ind., to take on the Earlham Quakers. The match will be held on Wednesday, October 15, at 3:30 PM.
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman has recorded a mark of 6-3-3 while going 1-1-2 in the HCAC.
* RHIT is coming off a 5-0 win over Franklin and a 1-1 tie against Mt. St. Joseph this past week.
* Rose-Hulman recorded a season-high 30 shots as a team against Franklin.
* The Fightin' Engineers also recorded 11 corner kicks to Franklin's zero.
* Jacob Pohl scored goals in both games.
* Both Pohl and Alex Gilmore attempted a team-high three shots on goal against Franklin, each scoring one goal.
* Ryan Shapiro and Oliver Fila each dished out their team-best third assist on the year over Franklin.
* Shapiro continues to lead Rose-Hulman with three goals and three assists, totaling nine points.
* Justin Burns secured his fourth shutout of the season against Franklin.
* Burns followed up that performance by matching his season-high of five saves against Mt. St. Joseph.
 
EARLHAM NOTES:
* The Quakers are currently 2-8-2 overall with a 1-3 HCAC record.
* The team is coming off a 6-4 loss to Bluffton and a 3-1 loss to Transylvania.
* Sophomore Mason Paul has recorded a team-high nine points with three goals and three assists.
* Paul has played all 90 minutes in all but one game this season.
* Senior Orin Gentner has added two goals with one assist.
* Sophomore Luke Hamaker has scored one goal and dished out two assists.
* Sophomore Ryland Wamsley has hauled in 65 saves with a 73.9% save percentage.
 
SERIES HISTORY:
* The Fightin' Engineers will be meeting with Earlham for the 47th time in their history.
* Rose-Hulman leads the series with a 23-22-1 record.
* The Fightin' Engineers are currently on an 11-game winning streak dating back to 2015.
