LEXINGTON, Ky. – Rose-Hulman was unable to take down Transylvania, as the Pioneers improved to 6-0 in the HCAC with a 2-0 win.
The Pioneers recorded two goals in the match, with Stone Work scoring a goal right before halftime in the 41
st minute. Nathan White would add Transylvania's second goal in the 46
th minute, where he recorded a team-high three shots on goal.
As a team, the Fightin' Engineers outshot Transylvania, 13 to nine, while also firing eight shots on goal to Transylvania's six.
Eli Miller recorded a team-high three shots on goal as all three of his shots were on target.
Ryan Shapiro added a game-high four shots, where he finished second on the team with two shots on goal.
Justin Burns finished the match with a total of four saves, and both he and
Jacob Pohl appeared in all 90 minutes of action.
The Fightin' Engineers will return home as they host the Anderson Ravens on Wednesday, October 22 at 7 PM.
