CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's swimming and diving team traveled to compete in the Indiana DIII Championships hosted by Wabash College on Saturday. The team finished the meet in third place with a team score of 424.
The team earned 10 top-five finishes in the meet.
Ellie Castleman led the team in the diving competition with a third-place finish in both the 3-meter (166.50) and 1-meter (168.20) competitions.
Avery Witt was another standout with a third-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:16.59. Witt also earned two fourth-place finishes in the 100-yard backstroke (1:02.31) and the 100 IM (1:06.31).
Catherine Bath also had a top-three performance, placing third in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:28.05.
The women's swimming and diving team will return to action on the road at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday, October 25.
