CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Rose-Hulman women's volleyball team traveled to face Mount St. Joseph in the HCAC Quarterfinal round on Wednesday night. The team fell short to the Lions in a competitive match with a score of 3-1 and set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-27, and 19-25.

Greta Carlson led the team with 13 kills in the match.
Amaya Harrell also reached double figures with 10 kills and recorded a team-high .348 hitting percentage.
Julia Irmen was the leading setter with 36 assists on the night. The team had four players with double figures in digs, led by HCAC Defensive Player of the Year
Lily Ebright with 25.
Rose-Hulman got off to a strong start with a win in the first set. After tying the score at 17-17, Rose-Hulman finished the set on an 8-2 run, claiming the win on a kill by Carlson, 25-19.
MSJ answered with a win in the second set, 25-22. In the third set, the score remained close. Rose-Hulman held the lead at 24-20 down the stretch. The Lions rallied to tie the score at 24-24, later stealing the set win with a score of 27-25.
The Lions would hang onto the momentum in the fourth set to pick up the win, 25-19, and defeat the Fightin' Engineers.
Rose-Hulman ends the 2025 season with a record of 16-12 overall and a conference mark of 4-5.
