Rose-Hulman Meets With the Maroons in Chicago

CHICAGO, Ill. – Rose-Hulman goes up against the Chicago Maroons on Saturday, November 22, at 3 PM ET (2 PM CT).
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers have started the season with a 0-5 record.
* The team has competed in both the MSOE Tournament and the WashU Tournament.
* Sophomore Katelyn Fennell has scored at least eight points in all five games.
* She is averaging team-highs of 11.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game on 43.1% shooting.
* Fennell scored a season-high 19 points on 7-11 shooting in the home opener vs. Millikin.
* Freshman Kaia Peterson has recorded 10.8 points and 5.0 rebounds per game on 47.5% shooting.
* Peterson is coming off a 17-point, 10-rebound performance on 7-15 shooting against Benedictine.
* Sophomore Julia Meyer has posted 7.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
* Meyer has averaged 11.3 points per game over the past three games.
* Sophomore Emma Schipp has added 5.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.
* Schipp is coming off a 10-point, nine-rebound performance against Benedictine.
* Junior Maria Godoy Rodriguez has recorded four steals in back-to-back games.
 
CHICAGO NOTES:
* The Maroons have opened the season with a 3-1 record.
* The team's lone loss came in overtime to #3 Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
* They are coming off an 84-29 win over Marian and a 66-57 win against Tufts at the Midway Classic.
* Sophomore Chris Sanders leads the team with 11.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game on 50.0% shooting.
* She has shot 7-18 (38.9%) from beyond the arc.
* Sanders scored a season-high 18 points on 7-13 shooting against Tufts.
* Sophomore Annabelle Spotts has recorded 10.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game on 48.5% shooting.
* Junior Bri Simpson has added 10.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game on 50.0% shooting.
* Both Spotts and Simpson have shot 50.0% from three-point range.
* Junior Kasi Samuda has scored 6.8 points per game on a team-high 55.0% shooting.
* Samuda has hauled in a team-high 9.0 rebounds per game.
 
SERIES HISTORY:
* This will be Rose-Hulman's fifth meeting with Chicago.
* The series is currently tied 2-2.
* The Fightin' Engineers won by scores of 61-58 in 2016-17 and 64-62 in 2017-18.
* The Maroons have won the past two matches by scores of 68-61 in 2018-19 and 74-53 in 2019-20.
* The Fightin' Engineers' last win came on the road.
* Ally Bromenschenkel recorded a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds.
