TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's swimming and diving team picked up a hard-fought victory over the Wittenberg Tigers on Friday night with a final score of 149-127. This improves the team to 2-1 in dual meets this season.
The Fightin' Engineers finished the meet with eight event wins and 27 top-three finishes.
Catherine Bath earned multiple event wins for the Fightin' Engineers in the 1000 freestyle (11:25.41) and the 500 freestyle (5:35.25).
Ritu Bharamaraddi was another standout with two event wins in the 100 backstroke (1:03.29) and the 200 backstroke (2:19.63).
Ellie Castleman led the team in the diving competitions with two event wins in the 1-meter (179.47) and 3-meter contests (180.83).
Rose-Hulman will look ahead to compete in the Wooster Invitational from Thursday, December 4, to Saturday, December 6.
