TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Rose-Hulman football team landed two student-athletes on the D3football.com All-Region list. Senior tight end
Ben Klein and junior defensive back
Wyatt Bell were both named Third Team All-Region for their efforts this season.
Klein was the top receiver for the Fightin' Engineers this season. The El Paso, Illinois native played in all 10 games, totaling 28 catches for 282 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The mechanical engineering major averaged 10.07 yards per catch and 28.2 yards per game. Klein finished the season ranking 15th in the conference in receptions and receptions per game, 19th in receiving yards, and 17th in touchdowns.
Bell was a star for Rose-Hulman in the secondary this year. The River Falls, Wisconsin native totaled 34 solo tackles, 58 total tackles, and a team-high three interceptions and 11 pass breakups. The mechanical engineering major led the conference with his 11 pass breakups this season and ranked fourth with his three interceptions. Bell currently ranks first in the career record books with three interceptions returned for a touchdown, fifth in pass breakups with 29, and 14th in interceptions return yards with 120.
Klein and Bell become the 55th and 56th student-athletes to earn D3football.com All-Region in Rose-Hulman football history.
