TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team will continue their conference schedule, hosting Earlham for the John Mutchner Cup on Wednesday, December 17, at 7:30 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands at 5-3 overall and 3-0 in the HCAC this season.
* The Fightin' Engineers come off a win over Anderson with a final score of 70-69.

Joey Schmitz currently leads the team with 16.8 points per game, shooting 53.2% from the floor and 46.2% from beyond the arc.
* Schmitz also leads the team in steals with 17 and minutes, averaging 31.8 minutes per game.

Cole Pride has also been a standout, recording 14.4 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, and a team-high 15 blocked shots.

Christian Torres leads the team on the glass with 8.5 rebounds per game, while also totaling 9.5 points per game this season.

Daniel Savovic has been another difference maker with 10.0 points per game and a team-high 23 assists.
* The Fightin' Engineers are currently shooting 47.9% as a team and 32.8% from beyond the arc.
* Rose-Hulman has been selected to finish second in the HCAC Preseason Poll, earning 72 points and three first-place votes.
* The team returns Second Team All-HCAC and HCAC Newcomer of the Year honoree

* Earlham stands at 1-8 overall this season and 0-3 in the HCAC.
* The team comes off a loss to Mount St. Joseph on Saturday with a score of 88-64.
* Bud Davis leads the team with 16.2 points per game.
* Tommy Reddick is another productive scorer with 10.0 points per game this season.
* Connor Smith leads the team on the glass this season with 5.1 rebounds per game.
* Earlham was selected to finish 10th in the HCAC Preseason Poll with 10 points.
* The team is led by Head Coach Isaiah Cavaco in his first year with the Quakers.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, the Quakers will travel to face Kenyon on Saturday, December 20, at 2 PM.
EARLHAM SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 71-55 overall against the Quakers.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won seven straight games against Earlham, dating back to the 2021-22 season.
