Rose-Hulman Readies for Quarrel with the Quakers

RICHMOND, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers will play in their final game of December as they face the Earlham Quakers. The game will tip off on Wednesday, December 17, at 7 PM.
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers have recorded a 2-8 mark with a 1-2 HCAC record.
* Emma Schipp is coming off a season-high of 21 points on 9-13 shooting with nine rebounds against Anderson.
* Schipp has averaged 8.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game on the season, while shooting 40.5% from the floor.
* Julia Meyer also scored a season-high 15 points on 6-11 shooting over Anderson.
* Meyer has posted 9.1 points per game on 38.2% shooting, while converting 33.3% of her three-point shots.
* Kaia Peterson scored in double figures in RHIT's past two games.
* She currently ranks second on the team with 10.4 points and 1.8 steals per game on 49.4% shooting.
* María Godoy Rodriguez recorded season-highs of nine points and six steals on 4-8 shooting against Greenville this past week.
* Godoy Rodriguez currently ranks fourth in the HCAC with 2.5 steals per game.
* Anaya Hawkins also set season-highs against Greenville with eight points and five steals on 4-8 shooting.
 
EARLHAM NOTES:
* The Panthers are currently 1-6 on the year with a 0-3 conference record.
* The team opened the season with a 78-69 win over Wilmington.
* Junior Amari Wright leads the team with 15.3 points while adding 4.6 rebounds per game.
* She has shot 37.8% from the floor, 38.5% from three, and 81.0% from the free throw line.
* Wright also ranks fourth in the HCAC with 4.1 assists per game, and she has dished out four assists in three straight games.
*Junior Berkley Shelton has recorded 9.6 points per game on 41.1% shooting.
* Shelton also ranks fourth in the HCAC with 10.9 rebounds per game.
* Freshman Sarah Riley has added 9.3 points per game while shooting 44.8% from the floor, 38.9% from three, and 100% at the free throw line.
 
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman will face Anderson for the 40th time in school history.
* The Fightin' Engineers lead the series with a 27-12 record.
* RHIT is currently on a seven-game winning streak, dating back to 2021.
* With a victory, Rose-Hulman will tie their longest win streak against Earlham, with eight straight victories.
* The Fightin' Engineers defeated the Quakers 69-54 and 74-59 last season.
* Katelyn Fennell and Sophia Reese each put up 18 points in the 74-59 victory.
